  1. TRacano I have a 5 and 3 year old who have been on several cruises. We also don't do many ship excursions and tend to go with reputable local companies or take taxis. We just hold our girls on our laps. That being said we always have a large enough group (grandparents) that we are in the bigger taxi vans. I think some local tours do have child seats or boosters if you request them, just ask you never know.

What ports are you traveling to?

  2. We are getting ready to sail on the Dream and I did a lot of cabin research. I think any inside room for 3 will have one upper pullman. The ocean view it seems some have the sofa sleeper and some the upper.

We just changed from interior to balcony on our upcoming Dream cruise in order to have a sofa rather than 2 uppers, but we have 4 in the room.

  3. Hi Marcie! We are on the last Dream cruise from PC right before yours :) I will have a 3 and 5 year old in Camp. I can't speak to the Dream specifically yet but my girls have attended Camp on the Triumph and most recent last year on the Sensation. They loved it and my then 2 year old did just fine. I took some diapers and wipes with her the first day and left them there. They returned what wasn't used to me on the last day. They also give you a cell phone so they can reach you if there are any problems. I really can't say enough good things about Camp for the young age group!

  4. We did the Dzibilchaltun ruins through Autoprogreso. They are very cool ruins and have a cenote on site as well. It's like a natural spring pool. It was so refreshing to swim in after walking around the ruins. We had some time before our tour and spent it at the local beach which was nice as well. We had our 2 girls with us who were 3 and 16 months at the time and we never felt unsafe. Just giving some detail on our experience, as I think any port you visit is what you make of it. I'm not going to say that there weren't areas of poverty or there weren't locals trying to sell you things. But you have that everywhere. I don't focus on it and I have found as long as you are polite in saying no thank you they just go on their way.
