  1. Diane, I gained 2 pounds just looking at that picture.

More pictures please!!! I know there are a lot of you out there with fabulous pictures to share with us. If you are unsure on how to post them, go to post 41 and 49 for 2 different sites/directions on how to do this. If you have any questions, we'll certainly try to help.

  2. For those who are interested, I use http://tinypic.com for my uploads. It's really easy.

    Open this program;

Browse your computer files for the picture you want to display.

Resize. There are 3 sizes that work well.

    1) Message Board (640x480)

    2) 15" Screen (800x600) I use this one

    3) 17" Screen (1040x768)

Select Upload Now. A new screen will appear.

    Under Share this Image

Copy "Image code for forums & message boards.

Paste code into the desired thread.

The next post will show the 3 sizes of pictures.

  4. What month was this taken in? Sep? Oct? We were in Alaska in late Aug, early Sep and flowers were still blooming! We did go to the State Fair in Palmer to see the large vegetables.

Sam, that picture was taken on August 31, 2005 (The Katrina disaster was going on). I guess we were having an early fall that year.

Judy, what a gorgeous picture! Let's see some more.:D

  5. I have made this thread a sticky in hopes that more will contribute.

AAs Mysticks1 requested, let's keep this thread to posting info on your cabin only. If you have questions regarding specific cabins, please start a separate thread to have your questions answered. It will make it much easier for Mysticks1 to go through the info and orangize it for us.

    THANKS, MYSTICKS1 !!!

Anne, obviously people dont read previous posts. Is there any way the posts asking about cabins and not posting information about them can be moved to another post? I know it's a lot of work for you, but this is a good thread and I think other posters don't read the previous posts so don't know that we'd like to keep it on point.. (you may move this one:rolleyes::D).

  6.

    Deck - Sky

    Cabin # - 1204

    Class – Conceirge Class

Starboard or Port Side - Aft

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – Bath

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Quiet. Verandas are connecting.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No obstruction unless looking down, then you can see all the balconies below you and the blue panel below.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - smallest of the aft balconies

    Was wind a problem? No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? Yes. I used our used towels every morning to wipe down the chairs.

Any specific problems with this cabin? There's no shade and depending on the ship's direction, we had to keep our cabin curtains closed because of the sun. The sun shining in made the cabin really warm.

Any other comments? I love sitting out on the veranda and watching the wake but had to limit my time because of the sun. Also, we left our cabin doors open one night and it rained. The carpet in front of the door was damp.

We did like our cabin, but if you book one on the aft, be ready to walk a lot. There are no aft elevators.
