Be glad you had the red sofa. Those white ones are hard as a rock and only have an arm at one end. They are quite uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time.

We are also on that transatlantic cruise and we have a great roll call going: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=42804308#post42804308 There are over 500 posts so you've got a lot of catching up to do. ;) I hope you'll join us. My DH has also set up at website for this cruise where you'll find a lot of great information. We look forward to chatting with you and meeting you on the cruise.

Hi...first post in I guess about 10 years.
We picked a 12 night Mediterranean Cruise leaving Oct 6 this year. :)
There is a really nice roll call for your cruise (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=42590614#post42590614). Please come over and introduce yourself and join us for nice conversation, help with excursions, and answer to any questions you may have. We look forward to "meeting" you.

Thanks Jenna. On the Infinity FV, they had to remove one of the bedside tables and place the other one in the middle when separating the beds, so I'm glad to read that this can be done.
We'd love to see pictures of the bathroom, if you have them. Thanks so much for the nice pictures.

Do any of you know if the bed in the Celebrity Suite can be separated? We have a CS booked on the Millennium and after looking at the pictures posted by Jenna (thank you), the bedroom looks almost too small to have the beds separated.

For some reason, there was a big turnover in staff when we got to Valparaiso, with a lot of them going on vacation. From what I heard, this also happened in the laundry and I don't know if they were short-handed, or the new staff didn't know procedure. We had been on the previous two legs and had never had any problems, but we put some laundry in a couple of days into this leg of our cruise and had problems getting the correct clothes back. Our poor cabin steward was walking around with stray clothes on hangers asking if any of it was ours. They had things straightened out the second week of the cruise.

My DH and I were on that cruise as well as the two before it and thought the Infinity was in great shape. We had some of the best food we've had in a long time on Celebrity ships and have even commented how much it has improved. We both had the norovirus on the 1st leg and were well cared for by our cabin steward and the infirmary. We even got a refund for our 24 hour quarantine.
We had the best Cruise Director we've ever had on Celebrity ships. Alejandro sails mainly on the South America cruises and was a delight, very personable and visible to all.
The staff was friendly and the ship was in good shape. I would definitely recommend a South America cruise. We did like the Buenos Aires to Valparaiso cruise better than we did the Valparaiso to Miami cruise. I liked the ports and scenery better, and sailing around the Horn and through the Beagle Channel is a lot of fun. This is just my personal opinion. I'm not a hot weather fan, and since we crossed the equator, many of the stops were quite warm, and the ports on the western side of South America are very arid.
Tell your friend to go ahead and book. It's a great cruise.

We have done this cruise 3 times and I would do it again tomorrow if I could. ;) Geiranger, Olden, and Flam are all deep fjords with incredible scenery. Make sure you have your camera batteries fully charged and lots of room on your card. You will take lots of pictures.

In the terms and conditions #7 says: Offer is only applicable to bookings made in the UK and Ireland.

We also booked the B2B. Roll calls have been started so I hope those of you who have booked will come over and say hello.
I'm really excited about doing these itineraries. It'll be our first time sailing the waters. :D :D :D

Probably because Jacquie works for the school district and you sail at times when you want to try to avoid kids, like me. :D
Ed, you're one kid I really hope to sail with someday. ;)

We are sailing from Buenos Aires in March 2014. I was able to see what the weather was for each day in 2013. Does not mean it will be exactly the same this year, but it gave us a ball park idea. It appears we go from warm to cool to possible cold and back to cool and then warm.
Regardless of the weather have a great trip!!!
There is a really nice group that have a roll call for this cruise (over 700 posts). I hope you'll come over and join us. We even have a website set up for us. Here is a link to our roll call: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=40846850#post40846850

Three days ago a waiter in Blu pushed my chair in a little too vigorously while my foot was resting against the table pedestal twisting my ankle in the process. I was unable to walk well enough to visit Athens or even worse, Santorini.
Oh no Arno! Did that keep you off the dance floor? I hope you're better now.

Beautiful pictures, pnsnkr, of one of my favorite places.
How nice to see this thread revived. It's fun to go back and look at these pictures.

That's disappointing to read that with over 400 Elites on board, they didn't use vouchers. We will be boarding the Solstice on April 8 for a transpacific cruise and it would have been fun to be able to visit the different bars during elite hours.

What happens if a port stop is cancelled?
