I was at the local Cruise Fair in Belfast yday. The presentation was all about Symphony and Perfect Day which seems to attract a fee for nearly everyting. She also said there would be 10 new ships in the next 10 years.
- 2 quantum ships (2019-2020)
- 3 oasis ships (2021-2023-2026)
- 4 icon ships (2022-2024-2025-2027)

We were on Brilliance this summer in an owners suite. Each day we did what we called the shower dance. The water would go from hot to cold. We just laughed about it and mentioned it to our room steward.
We had the same problem [emoji20][emoji20]

Because even if they do 12 or 14 nights from Amsterdam they have never considered Klaipeda as they focus on the better known ports. Ports like e.g. Klaipeda or Gdynia have only been included on longer one way repositioning cruises to and from Stockholm. One call is in May going eastward and one is in August going westward.

Ok but maybe they will innovate like Ncl who will send Ncl Pearl in Amsterdam next year

Jewel is on the Klaipeda cruise schedule for 2020 (two times in May and August). This indicates longer Baltic Cruises and/or cruises starting in a Baltic port for her (but not Amsterdam).
Reykjavik reports no Royal ships so far, just Celebrity Reflection and Silhouette.
Why not Amsterdam ?

Hard to see the motive for replacing one Radiance class ship with another on the same itineraries. Perhaps they are adding capacity in the region.

Do you think brilliance and jewel can both sail from Amsterdam
For Baltic , Brit island , and Iceland cruises...?
I saw brilliance cruises for 2019 and it’s selling pretty well at hight prices

Thanks for that info. Looking like she might take over the 12 nighters from Amsterdam.
Amsterdam does report cruise calls on their website, but Jewel isn’t showing up yet.
So where will go brilliance ?

Thanks for the Spirit itineraries.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t get to warm weather areas when I want to escape the winter here. I was hoping they would ditch the last RT Rome to Jerusalem and start it’s journey to CPT a bit earlier.
Anyone have the Jade itineraries?
Dubai and Egypt are warm even in February , sorry I don’t have the jade cruise anyway they will be out tomorrow

Fincantieri has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Princess Cruises for the construction of two next-generation 175,000-ton cruise ships which will be the largest ships built so far in Italy with deliveries scheduled in Monfalcone in late 2023 and in spring 2025.
The vessels will accommodate approximately 4,300 guests and will be based on a next-generation platform design, being the first Princess Cruises’ ships to be dual-fuel powered primarily by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
“This revolutionary platform for next-generation, LNG-powered cruise ships will introduce innovative design and leisure experiences driven by the future vacation and lifestyle trends of our guests – further evolving the already best-in-class Princess Cruises experience we deliver today. We look forward to collaborating with Fincantieri to bring our vision for this next-generation premium cruise ship into service," said Jan Swartz, President of Princess Cruises.
While commenting the announcement, Giuseppe Bono, CEO of Fincantieri, stated: “We are proud to further extend our long-established partnership with Princess Cruises, a brand we are indeed tied to since our comeback to the cruise ship industry in 1990. After so many years, we are getting ready to enter, together, into a new era of our industry, increasingly aimed at reducing environmental impact. We proudly do this with an all-time record project, both in terms of size and technological level”. Bono concluded: “We believe that there are no more significant milestones than these to reaffirm the market-leading positions we achieved. They allow us to keep a solid partnership between our country and the Carnival group - the largest foreign investor in Italy - and at the same time to maintain know-how and increase employment."

Prinsendam’s itineraries from July 1, 2019, onward are scheduled to be assimilated by Rotterdam, Volendam and Veendam.
Maybe the price will be less expensive because this 3 ships are bigger than prinsendam
