We usually take the stairs as much as we can...but this last week, Bucky had a leg injury. The stairs going down were actually the worst for him with the down step weight on the leg...and he is a skinny guy. 😮

We had at least 3 of the aft elevators in and out of service most of the time. One never worked. 😞

If it was a referral to Star Trek....yes, Spock gave them to me in person. 😄

We sold the big house on the water with lush landscaping, pool, boat dock, 3 boats. Still traveled in the motor home, but sold that now as well, since our fur babies (was the way to travel and take them along) were taken by the demon cancer. 🥺 Our small house here in this quiet gated, guarded community works well for us with little to no upkeep. We have a caretaker we pay to watch over it and water our plants. The long worldly trips came up since we are pet free now, but after 5 years....I still miss them dearly. Once the world travel bugs get kicked out of our system....we will stay more local as well. And with limited cruises booked now with RCI...I don't have to worry about not having room for those additional blocks now. 😄

We had a B2B (2 weeks) paid in full with American Queen Voyages. Was supposed to be for my birthday and our anniversary next month. They filed for bankruptcy. Even with going through the masses of required paperwork with surety company and bankruptcy court, I doubt I will see that money again. 😡 And yeah, we are not home much. Thus instead of a two week cruise followed by 2 weeks at a VRBO winery guest house south of Portland...I changed it it 4 weeks. Leaving a week from today, still looking forward to the trip....errr....no blocks awarded though. 😄 All of our Viking cruises involve rather long flights to get to port....but they worth it, since they are rather long cruises. 😉 And Viking does not have a loyalty program...thus still no more blocks. But that's OK, I don't have much room for more anyway. 😄

And little Lobster magnets from China at the souvenir shops too. I have several of them. 😉

Just after Covid restart, they were out of blocks. Took six months to get our sent to us. I had pretty much forgotten about it...then UPS paid us a visit. 😉

Oh so fun. 🤪

Yeah. You could walk down the beach on a romantic evening. Find an interesting shell to take home and remember the time you enjoyed on that beach. Or...you could go to the touristy shell shop that brings in shells on container packs from China and pick one up. Which one brings more memories.?

LOL...no...the VHS tapes went bye-bye a long time ago. And yes, we do have a very large collection of music CDs. We listen to them every day/night we are here...errr...at least when we are actually here. 😉 And being an old fart...yes...we still have actual photo albums. Any thing wrong with that? Good eye though. And no...cruising is just a part of our adventures. We do a lot of rental homes (mostly VRBO) and fill in the empty spaces with cruises. Though we have most of our future cruises booked with Viking right now. Spread the wealth.

Sweetie...you must have something in your suitcase...that went down to the "naughty room". Just check with Guest services to have them find out. I got caught one time with wire (the kind you get from the dry cleaners) hangers. Yes, allowed, but was enough to flag my bag years ago. From now on...only plastic hangers get packed. Never enough hangers in the closet for us. 😉

Awww...thanks so much sweetie for talking to him about us! He really is a good guy. 🥰 I would go to the coffee machine to bring him a double espresso, which he would use. Don't have to be a coffee drinker to love one of those. 😉

Barrington is so cool!! He and Richard were our two favorite bartenders in the SL. Barrington has been with the company for 23 years and pretty much has done every itinerary. He's a great guy!! 🙂

Makes sense. Most times we will get that fold out sheet of paper from the LA on times for upper tier, Cheers, etc. I tend to forget about that one too.

We were really looking forward to seeing it. Could never get a straight answer as to why it was cancelled, but the CK host told me it had something to do with the health of the lead singer...though there were various other explanations as well. No real explanation was offered by the ship.

We only had one in our JS on Allure last week. 😞

We didn't have that triple outlet in our JS last week. And agree that old "docking station" is silly to still be in there taking up room on the counter. Too bad they don't remove it. If you are wanting to see Mamma Mia...hope you are able to do so. It was cancelled on our 4 night for the whole cruise last week and also the weekend just prior. 😞 They did not announce it until about an hour before the show. Both the evening show and the matinee on the sea day.
