It was getting close to 4 pm so we headed back to check out and enjoyed the lobby bar and cafe, people watching and WiFi until it was time to Uber to Lax!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my review and that it gets you excited for your next cruise from Long Beach - we loved everything about our little getaway❣️

I am dying to take one of these classes, I love to cook. I am booked on Panorama next year but there’s nothing listed, I hope they just post those closer to the sailing date. Looking forward to any reviews anyone does on the classes!

I am on the Panorama in September and there are 9 classes listed. I booked this cruise in May and the classes were listed when I booked. I plan on trying one…just haven’t decided which one yet. Will report back

Was disappointed the Rymthm of the Nights shore excursion at Puerto Vallarta got cancelled. We did book a sailing excursion there plus a harbor, tour excursion at Mazatlan for the same price as the cancelled excursion.

Do you know why the Rhythm of the Nights got cancelled?  Was thinking of doing this excursion in September

  4. I asked John Heald on his BookFace page the following about the package and his answer is below -

    Hi John,

Is there a specialty dining package available for Panorama?  If so, what does it include and what are the prices?  Is it available online beforehand or only on the ship?

Not at the moment, it’s on hold while we make a few changes but I will be talking about this in the next couple of weeks so please stay tuned and I promise to give you all the information.
If there’s anything else I can do please let me know and I wish you the very best of times

Panorama does have a similar package.  $60 and it includes either steakhouse or Bonsai Teppenyaki, plus 2 $15 vouchers to Jijis, Cucina, Bonsai Sushi, or Seafood Shack

Do you know if this is something that can be bought online in advance or is it bought on the ship?  I couldn’t find anything about it in my cruise planner.

Yup.  The point of a muster drill is to know where to go...  Took us less than two minutes on our RCL cruise this month.  Theirs was out on the boat deck.  You literally had to walk past the muster drill stations as you entered the ship... hard not to stop and get it over with.

I experienced the same thing on RCL a few weeks ago. As soon as we got on the ship they pointed us in the direction of our muster station.

Has anyone flown with these test kits?

we are extending our trip a week prior to boarding so we will

need to bring the kits with us and do the test at the hotel.

    carry on. Or checked bags?

I just flew with these kits last week. I put them in my checked bag inside the box they were shipped in…I didn’t want them to get crushed and then have them tell me I couldn’t use the kit. I also did my test from the hotel room.

  8. While I can’t answer your question about the Panorama, I just wanted to chime in about how I was on the Horizon in September and these elevators annoyed me because they seemed to take a while.

But then I was just on a Royal Caribbean cruise last week with the normal type of elevators, and they were really annoying me having to stop at every floor. So I would much rather have the smart elevators lol.

How does this works? I've never received and e-mail from Royal Up on any of my previous cruises.

For my next cruise I've tried to go directly to the Royal Up page and enter my information, then a pop up says "Please wait while we check your eligibility", and a spinning wheel, buy it stays there forever.

Did you book the cruise directly through Royal or through a travel agent?  There are some travel agents that don’t participate in the Royal Up program.

If you do a quick 7-10 online research, you can easily figure out the hotel you will get.

Who has done this? What's your experience? I assume the hotel will know you are staying at a discount.

I know we most likely will not get the best view in the hotel but hope we wouldn't get a sub-par room.

I found the Intercontinental Miami Downtown at a really good price in comparison to what's available the night we need a room.

I love the location and it gets positive reviews so I can't see a downside or is there?

I used Priceline last week for the Intercontinental. We got a city view room which was great and the hotel is in a fantastic location. Lots of things within walking distance and so close to the port.

Thanks for posting this...I just checked and I am also now able to bid on rooms that I could not previously such as CLS, Aqua, an up. Never saw those before

Same here! I am booked on Freedom of the Seas this Friday and I logged back in and it’s showing me options for Owners Suite, Royal Suite and Villa Suite. I did not have those options before.

I booked a guarantee balcony room and originally it showed the Spacious Ocean View Balcony, Junior Suites and Grand suites. I did place bids on the Junior suite and grand suite which still show as pending and I am able to change them.
