  2. Yes just done this, took a home test 2 days before and took a photo of it, they had a quick look at it during boarding and that was it
  3. Nope, they are placed in your cabin still - no need to request and there’s more info in the printed copy than the app

  6. Hi, for anyone interested here is the first daily sheet for our recent cruise on the Equinox 10 day Ultimate Caribbean - I can post the rest (I’m just one short) if anyones really interested

Currently on the Equinox, we had the basic WiFi but upgraded to premium before boarding, I wouldn’t call it premium but I’ve had no issues in streaming video - YouTube, Amazon Prime etc.. with very very little buffering (we watched a 1hr video and it buffered once for about 5 seconds). I’ve not noticed any slower speeds at any time of the day or night. My biggest bugbear is swapping between devices and trying to get each device to recognise the login splash screen I even did a video call for about 40 mins and it didn’t buffer once and it was in the middle of a sea day in the Caribbean

I’m currently on the Equinox for a 10 night Caribbean sail. got on on Monday and it couldn’t have been easier - did a self test on Friday and took a photo of each (mine and the wife’s) during check-in they asked for photo and saw one line on it and were totally fine. Didn’t ask for dates or who’s was who's test. From getting out of the taxi at the port to getting on the ship was about 10mins and we were ½ hour early for our arrival time we had more hassle getting into the port in the taxi from the security guard at the gate - our passports were in the boot (trunk) of the taxi and we had to retrieve them at the gate to get into the port 🤷‍♂️

  10. Does anyone know if Celebrity still offer a separate Vegetarian Menu in the MDR ?
  11. For anyone recently back from a Celebrity Cruise, some advice please. We are first time Celebrity Cruisers and have the basic WiFi included in our package. What is the experience of your WiFi on your recent cruise ? Is there a noticeable difference between the 2 packages ? Is it worth the upgrade ? tia
  12. Are the drinks menus readily available in the bars or do they want you to use the app (this was the case on Royal Caribbean earlier this year) ?
  13. Sorry I can’t recall but it was well known that there wasn’t many taxis available at the port

We were on Royal Caribbean in May from Ravenna, first day on the cruise they had a flyer in our cabin asking what our travel options were at the end of the cruise and offered transport to Venice and Bologna. We booked the bus with them and it worked no problem, got on the bus in front of the ship and dropped us off in the car park of Venice airport in about 2.5hrs

Hi, not sailed on Celebrity before and I’ve just booked a 12 night cruise as part of a larger package The cruise includes the ‘Always Included’ package which has the classic drinks pack we are no wine connoisseurs by any stretch but like standard wine, cocktails and beer and gin with a mixer, mostly Is it worth upgrading to the premium drinks package ? - are most drinks in the classic pack ? Do you just pay the difference in the drink prices if they’re outside of the classic price ? Some guidance from some seasoned Celebrity cruisers would be gratefully appreciated
  16. I’m booked on a BA flight with 4 separate legs - edi-lhr, lhr-mco, mia-lhr and lhr-edi. I’ve got pre booked seats on all legs as soon as it was booked
  17. We were told by the Head Waiter that there were no other printed menus other than the standard MDR menus, everything else is on the App.
  18. It was $89.00 buy one get second half price so $133.5 per day. Not sure if that included the 18% gratuity though. Might be cheaper to buy before you go
  19. Jeso ! The app is rubbish not the vegan food !! The post was about the lack of VEGETARIAN menu choices NOT vegan - there’s quite a difference THERE IS NO VEGETARIAN OR INDIAN MENUS AVAILABLE as I have confirmed tonight in the MDR ALSO I am only talking about the MDR and NOT the Windjammer You have to ask for an alternative VEGETARIAN meal if you don’t like what’s on the main menu

Just to let you know that on the Brilliance and it maybe fleet wide that there is no actual Menu for Vegetarians, there’s not actually a printed menu for Vegans but there are Vegan options on the App (which is rubbish btw) I had this out with the Head Waiter in the MDR and was told it was company policy not to have a Vegetarian menu any longer but he could make anything he wanted for us - great so you’ve got to sit there and think up what you’d like to eat there and then whilst everyone else gets a choice, but he didn’t quite get it. I just think it’s a very poor policy in this day and age. This post is not a rant but rather a warning to other vegetarians btw - I am aware there is 1 veggie option on the menu but it’s not always to our liking (my wife hates mushrooms.. etc…)
