Flexibility of rules is probably dependent on bookings. If bookings are low, more flexibility. Just thinking out loud.

A nice can of sardines soaked in oil will help for both seasickness and piles. 🤪

That could be an interesting conversation as the package offered post 4 October will be fundamentally different. You can bet the new offers will be for new bookings only.
Good point

I just had the same dilemma. Without knowing what post Oct 4 looks like, it's really hard to make an educated decision. I went ahead and put the deposit down on All-In.
Maybe it was the right move; maybe it was the wrong move. Maybe I come out ahead; maybe I don't. Gambling is fun.If the price drops you can always re-price it.

Celebrity standard pricing is $89 plus gratuity per person per day for the standard drink package and $109 for premium. Pre cruise you can get a discount based on your tier or the standard or specialty sales that they have.
Oh, I didn't know they had pricing based on tier. I'll have to check that out.

You book the cruise only rate and then add on whatever you want in the cruise planner.
My point was at booking. I thought Cruise planner is after you book. I would like to see the prices up front.

They do. Book at Sail Only rates and add whichever options you want. This option applies now to all cabins upto Concierge and from October upto Aqua.
Nope. Not for me. I don't see where you can add drinks or WiFi separately. Perhaps that's only in the UK?

The AI Wi-Fi is crummy anyway. It’s a hook to upgrade to the premium Wi-Fi.
LOL. I wouldn't have known it was crummy because I don't use it. I cruise to get away from everything ... including on-line.

I wish they would have the booking options like they did a couple years ago where you just add on the options you want at booking time. I could care less about wifi but have to include it in the all-inclusive price.

As a general comment here, we all need to remember that nothing is ever 'free' on any cruise ship, or any cruise line.
Some items (including some food items) are offered at no additional charge (included with the cruise fare), while other items incur an additional charge at point of sale onboard the ship.
It is the 'included with the cruise fare' items that some folks confuse with and incorrectly characterize as 'free'. 🙂
Agreed, but I think everybody knows that. "Free" is a lot easier to type than "no additional charge" LOL

We also like booking longer 3-5 week cruises. It would be nice if X designed their more unique itineraries so folks that like longer cruises can book 3 consecutive legs together without revisiting any of the same ports.
Years ago we used to book B2B on Royal out of PR as they had two totally different itineraries every other week so there was no repeat. Now they do the same one over and over again so it's not worth going down there for a B2B anymore

The OP wasn't asking about winning a free cruise at bingo. They were asking if anyone won a free cruise for taking RCCL's survey. I have never encountered anyone in this category.
Conversations in real life often stray from the original theme. It makes life interesting. I don't mind. Thanks Bleueyes44.

Windjammer burgers are not very good in my opinion.

I know Johnny Rockets isn't free but it's not too bad of an upcharge. Burgers are great as well as the fries and onion rings. Don't forget that the sundae is included too.

Thinking out of the box, and for Someone i know who would like to see something of Europe but who doesnt want to fly, a cruise which originates in NY or Boston, goes to Europe, does two or three ports there and returns to US.
And perhaps there are some Brits who would like to see some of the US but also don’t want to fly so maybe a cruise originating Southampton, coming to the US to Boston, New York, and maybe one or two others and then return to Southampton.
That would be awesome!! We don't like to fly either.

Place it on 24hr hold. Then contact your travel provider. If you need call Celebrity and ask them to extend the hold. Generally they will give you a few extra days.
Good ideas. Personally, we book so far in advance (well over a year when prices tend to be lower), we don't worry a lot about the price, and book the cruise we want. Then we monitor the price over the next year and re-book at lower prices through our travel agent.

Personally I check frequently. In my case I generally book CS and RS's and often there is no inventory to check prices against so is not uncommon for a cancellation to occur and find a price reduction.
To make the task easier - do a mock booking up to the page where they show all the room categories and then I bookmark the page and drop on my desktop. With just one or two clicks I can check the rate.
example
Thanks for the tip!! We check fairly regularly for all cruises that we've booked and this trick makes it easier. Important to check often when already booked to get the lower price if and when they drop.

Gross tonnage is based on indoor space.

Interesting. All this time my assumptions were wrong. I guess there's so many ways to measure "tonnage" that all quotes should be taken with a grain of salt.
From Wikipedia:
Gross tonnage (GT, G.T. or gt) is a nonlinear measure of a ship's overall internal volume. Gross tonnage is different from gross register tonnage.[1] Neither gross tonnage nor gross register tonnage should be confused with measures of mass or weight such as deadweight tonnage or displacement.
Gross tonnage, along with net tonnage, was defined by the International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships, 1969, adopted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in 1969, and came into force on 18 July 1982. These two measurements replaced gross register tonnage (GRT) and net register tonnage (NRT). Gross tonnage is calculated based on "the moulded volume of all enclosed spaces of the ship" and is used to determine things such as a ship's manning regulations, safety rules, registration fees, and port dues, whereas the older gross register tonnage is a measure of the volume of only certain enclosed spaces.

Hey all ,
Seems like it would not be an option , but is there anyway to secure the same stateroom for B2B sailings if booking Gty cabin ?
Thx
Seems to me that would defeat the definition and lower price of a Gty room.
