  1. We'll be along for the ride Greg. We'll be on the Jubilee April of 2025. 😃
  2. There’s also plenty of drawer space….. Here are our bathroom and shower….. This is our large extended balcony, with more than enough room for two loungers….. These are the only balconies on the ship, other than the Cove balconies, where you can look down directly into the water. Of course our view now is obscured by the LNG barge…… This is our Stateroom Attendant Saung. She was such a sweetheart! We asked for morning service, ice, and extra towels and they were taken care of with no problems. Such a joy after experiencing Edy! Remember him? Afterwards, we made our way back to the Red Frog Tiki Bar to meet up with the Tribe and get our t-shirts. Pam (pebbles1102) was gracious enough to design and order the t-shirts for all of us. Thanks Pam! I forgot to mention that this was Patti’s 50th Carnival cruise! Here she proudly shows off her Milestone card. Photo courtesy of Webecruzen…… As I mentioned in the beginning, getting every one of the Tribe members at the same place at the same time was probably not going to happen. Here are a couple of shots taken during the afternoon. In the first picture taken from me at the top going clockwise, is Pat (Webecruzen), Lorraine (Boh Jang), Beverly (onlyano), Megan (MeganGC1983), Vic (Roscoe13), Heather (SenatorsFan), and Gerald & Karen (hapytobehr). In this picture, sitting at the table from the left is Lorraine & Roger (Boh Jang), Amy (AmyJA), me & Patti. Standing is Ellen (Hey Jut). Cut off is Pam (pebbles1102). Sorry about that Pam. We have a lot of nice pictures of you which we’ll share later! To be continued…..
  3. Patti wrapped up her picture tour for now, and met us at the Red Frog Tiki Bar just as Megan was showing us her teams Family Feud audition t-shirt. The auditions would be happening shortly after sail away. I don’t remember all the details, so I hope Megan can drop by and tell us how she wound up in this predicament……. How come there are so many kids on this cruise??? At 1:30 we went to check if our cabin was ready. It was, and our Sail & Sign cards were ready for us. We have a cabin on the “hump” # 11358….. There is a light and a USB port on each side of the bed…… There’s plenty of closet space…… To be continued……
  4. They will show the Super Bowl on the Lido big screen. In these pictures the roof is open.
  5. On our cruise in January we were there 7am to 4pm.
  6. Good questions! I keep notes of our activities on a daily basis while on board ship. Patti's pictures are time stamped so that we can easily match them up. If I have any questions, Patti is usually able to fill me in. After so many reviews, it's really second nature to us. 😎
  7. Thank you Karry! Why is it that we haven't cruised together yet? ❤
  8. That's what we do. Glad that you find them helpful. Enjoy! 😃
  9. I believe that there will be many more revelations before this review is finished! 😁
  10. This is the small Loft 19 Pool….. Patti’s looking down at the Serenity area from Loft 19….. There’s some type of Security vessel doing doughnuts next to the ship….. To be continued….
  11. Patti heads up to Deck 19 forward to check out Loft 19….. To be continued……
  12. Patti is going to head to Deck 18 forward and check out Serenity. Here are a few pictures of the Beach Pool area as she made her way there….. Welcome to Serenity……. That’s the Carnival Horizon in front of us….. To be continued…..
  13. Patti heads back down to Deck 17 mid ship, where on the starboard side you’ll find the Warehouse Arcade….. Circle “C” is right next door…… Over on the port side you’ll find Guy’s Burger Joint….. Club “O2” is right next door….. This is the upper level of the Red Frog Tiki Bar..... To be continued…..
  14. Patti moves up to Deck 18 and the Ultimate Playground….. Here are the Mini Golf and Water Works…… Patti’s looking up at the Ropes Course….. There’s a very narrow Jogging Track up here….. All the info you need on Bolt….. To be continued…..
  15. Patti takes in the Miami views…… There is plenty of seating and loungers on Deck 17 aft….. To be continued…..
  16. Now that we are on board, here are today’s Fun Times….. Our plan now is to check-in at our muster station (C7), drop off our carry-on bags at our cabin, and then head back to Big Chicken and the Tides Bar. Pat & Jim would do the same and meet us back there. Patti and I have grabbed our lunch….. It wasn’t very long before Megan (MeganGC1983), and Brian (Mr. Megan), joined us….. Patti is having her very first Cheers drink….. Sid (sid_9169) joined us, and soon the first “bar” picture of the cruise was taken. That’s Sid, me, Megan, Jim, & Pat..…. Jim is keeping track of Patti’s drinks for “Cheers” purposes….. Patti heads up to Deck 17 aft to begin her picture tour. The rest of us move over to the Red Frog Tiki Bar to continue our drinking. Here are the Grandeur OTS and the Scarlet Lady….. To be continued…..
  17. Once through security you are given a boarding placard. Ours was Priority “A”. You then entered the Captain’s Lounge which is sectioned off for Diamonds, Platinum, and Suites. We are seated by 9:30am….. We have our first Tribe sighting! In the Tribe t-shirt is Heather (SenatorsFan), and to her right, her husband Peter. To her left is Vic (Roscoe13), who is with his wife Donna. She’s camera shy, so we have to respect that. I will say that she is a very pretty lady, and that Vic and I have definitely married up! Lol. Jim is displaying their Priority “A” placard…… While we were waiting Patti and I had our Embarkation Photo taken….. Barbie and Ken are sailing with us this week….. Sid joins us in the Captain’s Lounge. This is his first cruise as a Platinum member. Welcome to royalty Sid! He’s sporting a Priority “Q” placard, but in reality he’ll be boarding only minutes after us. Don’t know why we didn’t get a picture, but that will be rectified shortly. At 10:45am boarding begins. We're the first group to board. We’re through the facial recognition scans and heading up the gangway behind Pat & Jim….. We are now aboard the Carnival Celebration! To be continued…..
  18. It was 8:50am when we parked our cars. The four of us made the short walk back to Terminal “F”….. That’s our line….. It was only 9:10am and they were already letting people into the terminal. We just walked up to the next available check-in station…… That took a whole two minutes, and they directed us upstairs to the Captain’s Lounge……. Before entering the Captain’s Lounge we go through the security check. Off course the metal in my knee and hip sets off the alarm. As security was wanding me, Patti took a picture, which is a big no-no. They gave her a slap on the wrist and made her delete that picture from her camera. To be continued…..
  19. We are heading through the tunnel to the Port of Miami…… Once out the other side, we just follow the signs to the Carnival Celebration at Terminal “F”….. We pass the MSC Divina and the Carnival Horizon along the way….. Here is our home for the next seven days, the Carnival Celebration….. We pull over here to drop off our luggage….. That being done, we have to drive down to Parking Lot “G” to park our cars. That’s the Scarlet Lady down at the end…… The Grandeur OTS is docked at Terminal “G”….. We have made it to Parking Lot “G”…… To be continued……..
  20. Day # 1 - (January 14th) - We board the Carnival Celebration! It’s cruise day! We were up at 5:30am to get ready for the day. It’s a cloudy 70 degree day with a chance of showers. We repacked our luggage and put the cruise tags on them. We then met up with Pat & Jim for some free Springhill Suites breakfast. Afterwards, Patti grabbed the camera and took these shots of the pool area that she had forgotten to take earlier. We can’t leave without doing that! We have a 9:30am to 10am check-in time at the pier, so we checked out of the hotel and met Pat & Jim by our cars at 8:15am. They would be following us down to Miami. And we’re off! This is the way to Miami……. After around twenty minutes of driving we are getting close….. Before we reach the tunnel, we can see some of the seven ships that are in port today. Here are the Scarlet Lady, Grandeur OTS, Celebration, and Horizon….. To be continued…..
  21. Glad to have you aboard! We were so sad that you couldn't make it. Hopefully we'll get to cruise together some day in the near future!
