Received the email yesterday with the FCC for our canceled cruise, but it was only for my reservation. Have not received my husband’s (under the same booking, in the same cabin). Is each FCC sent as a separate email? Is it normal to receive one and then the second one later? Just want an idea before I have to wait on hold with RCI.

    thank you!

They are sent as separate emails.  Does he have a different email address than you with Royal for the booking.

It should be available when you call them.

With a second vaccine just released and even more to come I wouldn't place ANY credibility in the article.

Announced numbers of more than 100+ million immunizations within the first few months of 2021.

Vaccines providing effective protection of 95% and with the possibility of mandatory vaccinations before cruising the entire timeline is in flux and only time will tell.

That’s a positive number but there are over 330 million people in the US.

It hasn't been. A family member at Jackson Memorial in Miami said everyone who they planned to get vaccinated will not be as they're not receiving what had initially been allocated. Most will have to wait for the second shipment which doesn't have a clear date (as of yesterday.)

My daughter is getting the vaccine today. So it depends I guess in what hospital chain you work for.

Advent Health/Florida Hospitals here got the vaccine.

Vaccine deliveries to Florida are being delayed due to production issues.  Not sure if other states are also affected.  What a surprise😇

Florida has got some delivered.  My youngest daughter is a RN for advent health and they have the vaccine.

but you are right that the original numbers are lower due to past production ingredient/material supplies not being readily available.

I am pretty sure this supply chain concern has now been corrected.

  5. I have 3 cruises cancelled where the FCCs were originally correct and then they changed them without notifying me.

they have given me 3 refunds which are being charged back against the changed request making the error even greater.

I emailed Mr Fain to discuss my concerns as a retired loss control manager.

long story short I got a call back by the resolution Dept yesterday and they are reviewing the 3 bookings and will get back to me within 48 hours.

They have a mess on their hands and as they cancel more months of cruises the situation is only going to get worse.

Quality control seems to be non-existent.

    Island lady,

    look at: statista. Com

    As of today 11/18/20

    1 Texas - 1,078,875

    2 California - 1,054,766

    3 Florida - 897,323

    4 Illinois - 587,656

    Hal

Gee the top 3 are also the largest states in population so their total numbers will be higher but that doesn’t make them the worst 3.

Good Morning John;   Hope you can answer  a question on Pinnacle.  We will make Pinnacle on Allure in Oct. as on a 4 week Back to back.  The normal point  addition comes after completion about 7 days later but  I thought I had read a few months back that Pinnacle level was recognized the cruise while you are on board.  Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Nancy & Bob  The Villages

I am not John but yes you are recognized on board d of the cruise you reach pinnacle.

if it is not the first week check with the loyalty ambassador and let him/her know the cruise you will reach pinnacle.

I think Liz and I are on 2 of those cruises with you.

I don’t have a problem with this. Might reduce the numbers in the DL.  It might also work with letting people keep their “status” but limit access to the loyalty lounges to those with a certain amount of annual cruise points. They could also regulate it by $ spent with Royal annually.  The later would be my recommendation. 😇

Interesting ideas.  Makes sense to me.

I just did a mock booking for one of my cruises.  Happy to see another price drop, but then I noticed that the gratuities are more.

    • Last week it was $371.52 for a 5 night (4 people).
    • This week it is $385.68 for the 5 night (4 people).

    1. Was there a silent rise in gratuities?  Usually you are given warning.
    2. If you added gratuities to your invoice, are they locked in?  Or if I re-price, will the increase in gratuities be used.

That is a strange number for grats if you are talking about normal grats (housekeeping/dining) unless it relates to money exchange rate changes.
