Yes, I you want to stay up to two days after you have to pay the $25 pp again.

35 minutes in the Atlanta airport does not seem doable to me. Your connecting flight will be boarding 30 minutes prior to take off and Atlanta is a big airport with trains connecting terminals. I would call to argue to have that changed. 

Did your first time change occur in Corfu? Did you lose an hour the night before? 

We are Hilton loyalists and have stayed at the Diagonal Mar the three times we cruised from Barcelona. It was not too far from the port from what I remember and easy to walk to the metro to get around the city for sightseeing.

I swear I read somewhere that Los Lobos was going to be added to the Joy during the renovation.  I can't seem to find that online now.  Does anyone have any info?

We just booked a 2021 cruise that includes round trip air with NCL to Miami. I’m wondering how people who have used this option felt about flight times, selecting seats, etc? 

I just booked today a 2021 cruise and air was included. I think it would only have been a $50 reduction in price if we opted out. We did pay an additional $25 pp to fly in 2 days early. 

I’m interested to hear experiences with those who used the air addon as far as flight times, etc. 

I’ll hope for a good promo in April. I like the pick 2 promo. Just feel like this added air has caused too much increase. 

I keep hoping the "ends in blah blah days" and "extended for a limited time" is really going to be the end.  I am waiting for better pricing that doesn't "include" all of the things I don't need that have driven prices through the roof.  Anyone else feeling the same?  If they would let me choose with the airfare when I wanted to fly in and back out that would be one thing but from what I understand you have to fly in the day of the cruise and fly home the day you depart. 

I haven't price shopped for a while but the current pick 5 promo prices seem very high.  I am thinking they are adding a premium for the included airfare.  I do not want the airfare so plan to wait to see what happens when we get back to a pick 2 promo.. just wondered if anyone had experience with how this is running.

Are there umbrellas available at Brewers if the shade trees have been damaged?  I can't sit in the sun.  Would it be easier to find shade at another beach if umbrellas are not available there?

Just wondering if anyone has any info about the delay in publishing the itineraries. It seems all other ships besides a few jewel class are posted.

Fly the airline you prefer, but no one forced you to book a basic economy fare!

 

Perhaps consider Southwest.

Distance means little in regards to airline pricing. It's a matter of market supply and demand between a city pair.

 

 

 

Don't want to be at the mercy of someone else picking you a seat....don't buy basic economy. Or don't fly a carrier that offers basic economy. Who put the gun to your head and forced you to pick that class of service?

Sadly we have been loyal to AA/United for most of our flights for 20 + years before basic economy existed. I agree it is time for us to move on from them.

I don’t understand your seat complaint. It has nothing to do with OP’s problem. In addition, you chose to book Basic Economy, which clearly states you will be assigned seats at no charge at check-in. No one is “forcing” you to pay for a seat. If you want to chose a specific seat, you have to pay when you book Basic Economy.

Sometimes, you get what you pay for.

Yes..although this same flight can be booked from a much farther distance for half what I have to pay for basic.

We just flew AA for our cruise in February. We booked “basic economy” at a ridiculous price (Charlotte is terrible for prices) but we are Advantage members. We were fine going down as they gave us decent seats but on the return flight they had us separated and put each of us in the middle of the three seats on each side of the plane. The couple in my side of the plane were separated with me in between so thankfully we switched seats and through another nice person who then swapped isle seats with me my DH and I were together. This felt like such a blatant attempt to gauge us into paying for seat assignments. [emoji34]

Ok that’s what I thought. I realize they don’t want fake posts but it would be helpful. The agency is going to do a courtesy hold and I will verify everything is good with NCL.
