  1. I reread my post and did not mean to be insensitive to the current issue of the pandemic of coronavirus. It was was shear luck that I sold when I did. I hope I did not offend anyone.
  2. I’ve owned RCL stock for many years and for the past few cruises including our upcoming April cruise and was informed due to the fare code, the shareholder credit was rejected. Good news is that I sold my stock last week before the coronavirus outbreak. Stock closed today $20 per share less than I sold it.

    Drinks?

Kentucky Calling and Zacapa Old Fashion at the World Class Bar.
  4. Anyone know who the CD is on Infinity next week? 11/9 Panama Canal transit.
  5. If you are getting the SLV for $40, stock up! About $190 here in Texas. I suspect it’s not the SLV and it’s the estate Cab Sauv which is also delicious and $40 is a great price.
  6. Our ship calls on Barcelona May 1 next year, Spain’s Labor Day. I’ve read conflicting reports on what is open and what is not. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of what is open on Labor Day? Thank you
  7. Don’t miss the Liar’s Club show. Very funny.
  8. Enjoying your review. We sail on Edge next April on a Transatlantic that will stop in Barcelona. Love Barcelona, such a beautiful city with great food and art. We ate at Ciudad Condal last November and I highly recommend it. But as Kteacher mentioned, be prepared to wait. We waited about 20 minutes, not too bad. It was worth the wait. I would also recommend a visit to LaBoqueria market on Las Ramblas. Unbelievable market that also has small restaurants that serve great tapas.
  9. We were also on the April 2018 TA and loved Giuseppe. Don’t miss the Liars Club show. He was fantastic! We also had Alejandro on Nov 2018 TA and thought he was awesome as well.
  10. IMO the problem is Celebrity bartenders do not make the mix using Demetri’s directions. Instead of 2 ounces of the concentrate to 32 ounces of tomato juice they add the mix at the time they make the drink which produces an inconsistent product.
  11. The immediate notification is working fine, however the daily notification function is not working at all. Is there something else I need to do to enable this function?
  12. We really enjoy the World Class Bar on the S Class ships. Is there a bar on EDGE that serves similar cocktails?
  13. It’s $2400, which is what the premium beverage package for two costs.
  14. Update on the 4 perks. I emailed Celebrity attaching the screenshot and explaining my situation. A Celebrity One Touch agent contacted me and informed me that she would be researching my issue. The agent just called to tell me that they did make a mistake, however, they would honor the deal. For some reason they gave the perks for gratuities, internet and obc, but instead of adding the premium beverage as a perk they added $2400 in obc which is fine with me. Needless to say, I am very impressed how Celebrity handled the situation.
  15. Yes I know X has excluded in the past, so when I saw that the TA on the Edge April 2020 had 4 perks I booked it ($25 deposit!). I took a screen shot of the cruise I booked. Later that day I looked again and saw that the only perk was $100 OBC. Emailed my Celebrity Vacation Planner, she checked with her supervisor and said there was nothing they could do. Has anyone had a similar experience? Did you have any success with X honoring what was booked? Any recommendations?
