Soda (Soft Drinks)-- Can you take your own?

New cruiser here and an Aussie. You can imagine with our exchange rate to US dollar heading to 60c we are figuring out ways to save money...and why not! We are heading our on the Rhapsody of the Seas in January (first time and cannot wait). Has anyone ever taken there own canned of bottled Soda (soft-drink) on board?

Of course! As long as it isn't an alcoholic beverage you are allowed to take it on board. You can put it in a suitcase or just tape a few cases together - what ever works for you. Have a great time!!!

Yes, you can bring your own. If you choose to buy soda onboard, it runs about $2 per can (give or take a few cents). That works fine, if you are only an occassional soda drinker.

We brought 2 12 pks on our last cruise, they did open one of the pkgs to make sure we were not smuggling. We put them in a rolling bag and did not lock it.

oh thank goodness, my husband drinks water but I am a soda fan and we were wondering how much that was going to run us. Thanks for the information everyone!
