em-sk Posted April 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2018 hello, where do get your passport stamped in victoria and vancouver? You don't. Canada records your entry and exit electronically and has been moving away from stamping passports in general at most points of entry. Usually they clear the entire ship. If they have a specific concern about certain passengers those get paged and handled separately. There are usually Canada Boarder Control officers meeting and clearing the ship and they do have counters as you exit the the dock area. I have no idea if you ask them if they would stamp your passport.

MX residents need the ETA to travel to Canada, like the VISA to USA. USA officials stamps my passport on the Airport entry with the limit date (6months), they do not stamps on the exit. Is similar in Canada? We will arrive to YVR from DFW.

When you arrive in YVR, depending on the type of passport you either get directed to a kiosk or a customs office. They would stamp your passport if required. When you leave, if you are on a direct flight to MX. You will be issued a boarding pass by the airline and go into the international departure area of the airport. No additional passport control. If you are on a flight to the US, you will pass through US passport control in Vancouver, and will be in a special trans-boarder area of the airport that only has gates for US bound flights. Your flight will arrive at a domestic gate in the US. There are a few flights that depart for the US late at night, those leave after US customs closes and go out of the international gates.
