crewmember59 Posted October 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2018 Hi all. I'm on a 2 night mini cruise on ventura in Nov with a large group. All in our 30s 40s and a couple in their 50s. Found out one night is 60s theme which isn't really for us. Is there venues onboard that will play more up to date music? And is the a disco/ club onboard. Thank you for any info you can share Sent from my SM-G950F using Forums mobile app
john watson Posted October 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2018 If you read the Horizon on board daily newsletter, all entertainment is listed. In this way you can schedule what the best strategy is for your evening. It is likely the 60's theme is not universally featured about the ship and some venues will not be following it. I recommend taking highlighters and marking your copy and others do the same to get a consensus. This works well for big groups and daytime activities too. mandylennon Posted October 5, 2018 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2018 The late night disco will be in Havana. The DJ will play all types of music. There may also be music in the Exchange Bar.
Josy1953 Posted October 5, 2018 #4 Share Posted October 5, 2018 The themes usually apply to the the dress code rather than the entertainment for that evening. We find that very few people bother with dressing in 60s/70s style clothing, though more people may do so on a 2 nighter as they tend to attract parties. Enjoy your cruise.☺
