Cruise in norway

Recommended Posts

Both Sognefjord and Hardangerfjord are labeled CO, which means cruising only. You have 4 days in port on this cruise. Both Flam and Geiranger were the highlights of our cruise (we haven't been to Alesund but people seem to love that too)

Have a great trip!

In holland America website for cruise in Norway:

I see half a day "Scenic cruising Sognefjord"

How can I know if it includes Naeroyfjord towards flam or not?

I will take a guess & say no unless the ship is going to Gudvangen it will stick to Sognefjord

Nærøyfjord literally means “narrow fjord.” Although the fjords are deep enough to accommodate large cruise ships, Nærøyfjord really isn’t wide enough to fit the large ships. I’ve only seen the much smaller (a few hundred pax) ships visiting Gudvangen.

In most cases it is possible to book a small local ferry cruise to visit Nærøyfjord during a call at Flåm.
