GEM.. Name that Tune or Artist

My favorite game: Name that Tune or Name That Artist.. any past cruisers know if they play either game.. prizes do not matter... I'm sailing on the GEM on 07/21/2012 and if they do have the contest, as Igor Drago from Rocky once said "You Will Lose!"

I read a review that said they do have that on the Gem.

Just off the Gem today, we played Name That Tune and won a bottle of champagne since we knew all twenty songs. We enjoyed mimosas the next morning. :D

I'm happy to hear they offer that game as one of their activities. I love that game too :) I will try and participate during my cruise on the Gem.

We played NTT on RCI and on The Jewel and Sun on NCL. Very fun.

On my Gem sailing, they also did an all-Beatles variant of Name That Tune - they played snippets (5 seconds max) from 20 Beatles songs and you had to come up with the title. A lot harder than it sounds since they usually picked just the instrumental sections of songs (i.e., no helpful lyrics). Also, some of the songs picked were not exactly the most well-known numbers by the Fab Four.
