Did I miss any news on the "shopping reveal", assuming there is one.???

I thought I noticed two areas on Deck 4 of the plans. One is across from the casino...win big, spend big? The other is is next to the photo gallery closer to the theater.

Lately the shopping offered on board has been fairly lackluster.,,..I like M Kors but do not need another MK handbag.....Would also like to see more items for kids..

This was from the Revolution announcement. I am guessing that, since the Revolution of the other ships is based on the Edge, it may hold true for the Edge. These brands are all vendors of high end watches and jewelry, which is not of interest to us, but may be for others.

"including exclusive new shopping experiences featuring sought-after brands and designers, such as Shinola, John Hardy, and Hublot, plus state-of-the-art digital photo galleries that make browsing vacation memories a snap."

It feels like there will be more retail space on the Edge than other X ships, though I might be wrong square footage-wise. There will be 3 separate boutiques, in addition to the 2 shopping areas and a Art Gallery, all strategically located between the dining areas and the bars/theater/casino. :D

I can picture quite a few very high end designer shops for watches, jewelry, leather bags. You know the ones that take up most of the shopping space, are usually empty of shoppers but have an occasional browser shocked at the prices, with the very bored looking sales people standing outside - sometimes handing you raffle tickets for that 2 AM drawing. Sound right?

On my last Reflection cruise the sales people stood in the hallway trying to engage us in conversation while walking between dinner and the theater. Hopefully the Edge will have class. I have no problem with them having shops, but hawking in the hallways goes a bit too far for me. :D

The shop is beautiful but looks too high end for us,,,they probably keep alot of merchandise in the back...look don't touch!

I did miss the shops you circled on the other deck...cannot read what they are,,

We browse and do buy but not the expensive stuff.. Have enough M Kors, watches, charm bracelets,,,. Lately the merchandise is very repetitive...maybe I am shopped out??? Nah,,,

They even get the Captain and other officers involved in the raffles,,.

They just say "Boutique Shop" so likely the high end vendors who are paying a high price for a stand alone boutique. I wish they would have a "medium end" store - on the Allure they had a little store named after an artist and it had fun coasters and prints, on up to more expensive art. I'm blanking on the artist's name, but it was fun to shop there. I will be in the Edge souvenir shop purchasing Edge mementos. :D

Romero Britto?

One of my favs and there is a Britto shop on Allure. The Art just exudes Happy...so consistent with the Hippie Van! I have a few of his butterflies...

If they had that on EDGE dh would have to freeze my onboard charge acct,

Yes!! That is the one. It was so much fun to shop there, especially since I was on a cruise with just my two sisters. :D

Here is one of the set of coasters I purchased (and now I can see his name on it). We still are using them!
