South Queensferry question

South Queensferry is a small town but interesting. You probably wouldn't spend the whole day there, as it is really only has one short main street but it is quaint and definitely worth a visit. It would probably take 10 - 15 minutes to walk from the top of Hawes Pier where the tender docks to the church at the far side of the centre. This is a website which might be useful

I’ve been making a list of things to do for this summer. You could go to Inchcolm island. The ferry I believe leaves from same pier the tenders come in. Perhaps if someone who knows can chime in.

Seems to be more than one tour company that operates so here’s their link.

I think that, unfortunately, when a cruise ship is in SQ the sightseeing boats use another pier, not so close. I think I read it on the second website you mentioned.

That's true Al54. The Maif Of The Forth is actually used for bringing passengers ashore because of its large capacity. Also when a cruise ship is in, the pier is a secure zone accessible only to those with approved passes / cruise cards

Forthtours.com website says : Port Edgar marina, they even give a map. Go to the website, click on "cruises" then "Cruiseships sightseeing cruises" and in the text, click on Port Edgar and you'll get the map (it's necessary to enlarge to have a good idea of the distance). Sorry to interfere, because your question was for Tartanexile, but as I was looking for the same thing, I just found this answer.
