We just returned from a med cruise, which terminated in Athens. Since we only had one day there, we hired Spiros Taxi Service to show us the sights and he was great! (www. athenstaxi.net)
In most other ports we took the ship's tours or walked on our own. We found out that it is quite easy to hire a taxi to show you around; which we probably will do the next time around. We just wanted to make sure that we didn't miss the ship.

We also used Spiro's services when we were in Athens early October to take us to Cape Sounion to see the sunset.

I would recommend his services to anyone considering visiting Athens as he is very reliable both with emails and his services.

hi all. i am looking into hiring spiro's for our tour of athens & was wondering if you could give me the name of your driver? he said he has several drivers who all speak english & who are wonderful guides but i wanted some feedback from fellow cruise critics. thanks!

I would ask for Spiros personally. If you are the first one booked for that day and insist upon it he will personally be your driver. That said, I have heard nothing but good things about the other drivers he uses.
