Seeing the Pitons from the ship?

We will be On the RCI Serenade of the Seas in April. Can you see the pitons from the ship before it docks in port? Does it cruise by them prior to docking or maybe departing the island? Would love to get a picture......

Lucky you, sailing the Serenade so soon! I loved our cruise. We had a balcony on the starboard side, and at about 5:30 in the morning, we passed the Pitons. It's a very beautiful sight early in the morning. Here's a post from my Serenade review (from 2010) and some pics:

After we leave St. Lucia we're sailing to Barbados, so our ship should sail by the Pitons. We'll keep an eye out and let you know! :rolleyes:

We did have a wonderful time! Enjoy the Serenade, she's my favorite ship (so far :D).
