2littleprincesses Posted July 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2017 HI! We are a family of 4 with two teenage girls who a little scared of heights and have never zip lined before. Which of these do you think is the best excursion for us? Cosol and Herods tours look very similar does anyone know the differences? I also am considering ziplining in St. Kitts or a catamaran tour to Nevis, but the zip lining looks a little more intense (more lines) so I don't know what to do there either. Thanks for any help! JBSteelerfan Posted July 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2017 Can't comment about Herod's or zip lining.......but we have done Cosol Tours before and absolutely loved them! Probably the best island tour we have ever done anywhere in the Caribbean. Had Bumpy as our tour guide and he was excellent.
reedprincess Posted July 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2017 Herod's offers several options, including land/sea tour which is by land down and by sea return, a land only similar to Cosol, and a speedboat beach break type tour.. The main differences would be in the two tours that include the speedboat coastal tour. Cosol's tour is land both ways, like Herod's Soufriere Delight tour (or whatever it's called). If you can swing it, a land/sea tour combo is ideal - you get the best of both worlds.. Zip lining can be great fun. Maybe try the St Lucia Hotwire course - shorter and not as fast as the others, so your kids won't have as much freak out. Plus stunning views of the Pitons and oceans, great plantation lunch, etc. Enjoy.
