trrn2016 Posted October 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2017 What pier does GRandeur of the Seas, Royal Caribbean, dock in Boston? Is the Freedom Trail and Cheers walkable from the pier? Thanks.
1025cruise Posted October 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2017 There is only one pier in Boston, the Flynn Cruise Terminal (formerly known as Black Falcon). Walkable is dependent on your definition, I would take transit.
sddsddean Posted October 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2017 We did an Anthem cruise in September. It was a lovely day (which, of course, makes a difference!) and we got a cab to Bunker Hill ($15 +$2 tip), then walked the trail all the way back to Boston Common and then walked back to the ship. Whole thing took us about 4 1/2 hrs. As said, depends what you mean by 'walkable', but I'm 57 and my wife is 60, neither of us particularly fit(!), and we had no problems if that helps. Flynn Cruiseport Boston at the Black Falcon Terminal", referred to typically as the Flynn Cruiseport or the Black Falcon Terminal.
