Busch Gardens post cruise

Hey everyone, our post cruise flight does not leave til 6pm, obviously we will need to be there around 4, if we self disembark and rent a car, will we have time to do Busch Gardens or should we plan something else....it will be DH, myself and our 6 and 7 year old :confused:

I assume we are talking an arrival to port of tampa and departing from tampa airport ... if not, disregard the following ....

park opens at 10, you'd need to leave by 3 IMO to be at airport by 4 (turning in car etc)

5 hours in the park. Ticket price online starts at $90 per person (3 and up) .... (subtract an hour for lunch in all probability ... but note you can buy admission PLUS 'eat all day' for $104/person on line today!, ticket good for 1 year)

is it worth it to you $ wise? You CAN do it. (don't forget parking at the park .. more $) BG is less than 10 miles from the Tampa cruise terminals and the airport

you don't mention when you are cruising but

Tampa Science Museum is an option, a 1 year family membership is $100 !! ... they are closed now for remodeling but will reopen in mid November https://www.mosi.org/

FREE ..... been there and can confirm it is FREE ... even free to park! And the park where this is located has a BUNCH for kids to do .... and food carts and and and ... a VERY nice park. You could hit the park, ride the train and probably even have enuf time to zip over to the beach ......

Aquarium is next to the port and good. Half a day and would give you plenty of time.
