My daughter and I have stayed in Central Park balcony cabins with both configurations. I know some people prefer the bed by the balcony so it’s a little easier to deal with not having the closet next to the bed. We found that we prefer the bed nearer the bathroom, so the couch (“living room” area) extends out to the balcony. I also like being closer to the bathroom at night. It depends on how adaptable you can be about getting stuff in and out of the closet.
