Shrimp Cocktail

DH and I were on NCL Gem three weeks ago we were surprised that in the MDR for dinner they did not serve shrimp cocktail on any of the nine nights. While on Carnival shrimp cocktail were offered every night. We didn't know lobster night was the first night so we missed it.

Oh, well! Shrimp is soooooo easy to make...you can catch it on sale in most grocery stores. Do NOT EVER buy "cooked" shrimp...tastes and feels awful....buy raw shrimp and do it yourself! It's the easiest thing in the world!

Lobster is also for sale in grocery store....buy COLD WATER tails...they are a bit more trouble to shell, but are easy to cook!

No matter what night lobster is served -- we don't order it. HAL's is tiny -- 3 bites and it is gone. Also it is too salty and over cooked.

As for shrimp cocktail -- HAL's -- you used to get 5 huge ones -- now 4 tiny ones.
