N.A. RT Vancouver- Gala Nights?

Hi, folks!

Trying to plan our specialty dining night(s) and don't want a conflict with gala nights, as we would like to stick with dining room on these dates. Does anyone have experience with this cruise who can advise which nights we should expect to be gala nights? Also, I'm seeing Canaletto and Tamarind but no Sel de Mer yet. Do you think that will be added later? (We are cruising in late May so still around 7 months out).

On my 14-day Alaska trip (R/T out of Seattle on the Amsterdam), the Gala nights occurred on the 3 sea days (so day 2, day 7, and day 13). They don't typically happen on the first or last night of a cruise, either, according to my HAL Personal Cruise Consultant.

Our NA Alaska cruise had Gala Nights on Day 2 (sea day) and Day 5 (Glacier Bay)

By the time you take your Alaskan cruise in 2018, you may have only 1 Gala night.

In recent days, people have reported that for their 13 day cruises they now have only 2 Gala nights -- 1 per week.
