Ruby Princesss Formal Nights-Mexican Riviera

Anyone know when the formal nights take place on Ruby Princess when they are doing the Mexican Riviera?

It will not be boarding day nor the last evening of the cruise. Assuming you are speaking about a 7 day cruise, formal nights will probably be the first sea day and the day you leave port early. If you mention which date you are sailing you may get some good guesses. Formal nights are posted in the Princess Patter which will be in your cabin on boarding day.

For us in February, Monday (second sea day) and Thursday (leaving Cabo). The fact that the first formal night wasn't the first sea day threw me, but I saw mention of it here (thanks Cruise Critic!) from a cruise a few weeks before ours, so there does seem to be a bit of a trend to do it that way. Maybe it gives the Lotus Spa and the Platinum Studio more chances to sell slots on first formal day? Maybe it promotes more relaxation on the first 48 hours of the cruise, and packs "all the excitement" into a more condensed middle of the cruise? Who knows.
