Can you bring soda cans onboard?

I like Dr Pepper and they usually don't have that on the ships I've sailed (other cruise lines). Are you allowed to bring your own soda onboard? Anybody know what soda types are offered onboard for a fee?

Bringing soda onboard is technically prohibited, but usually allowed.

Cans of soda cost $4.13 including gratuity.

How about Monster? We have drink package, so not taking anything away.. I like to have them in the morning sometimes.

Red Bull was included with the refreshment or delux package or available for purchase. I don’t recall seeing Monster on board.

How do folks bring soda onboard? We were denied bringing bottled water onboard three yrs ago, and haven’t tried to bring our own soda.
