downpatrick Posted April 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2018 Forty years after our Honeymoon in Hawaii, we are returning to the South Pacific to celebrate our anniversary October 2018. We can't decide which cruise line to book with. Both PG and Windstar look great. Hve you been on both? Can you offer your opinion please.
liamur14 Posted April 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2018 We are booked on Maasadam,Hal , 14 day Polynesia Idyll, Oct 28, 2018. We chose this cruise becasue of it's amazing iteneriary. Very excited for our adventures to begin. Check it out. I see you're from Toronto, just booked our YYZ to LA with West Jet yesterday for 355$C, and Hal had a Candian flight deal from LA to Papeete for 999$C with its Ready Set Sail promo. Petoonya Posted April 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2018 We've done both Oceania and Windstar Tahiti and love each. Windstar having a smaller ship can get into places the larger ships like HAL, Celebrity can't. Oceania is a smaller ship than HAL and also can navigate into the smaller islands. Currently booked again on a 17 day Tahiti itinerary this year with Windstar, and next year an 18 day on Oceania. Love both for service, beauty and dining- and itineraries. Haven't done PG but I'm sure you can't go wrong with them. Choose the itinerary that best suits your desires. October is a great time to go weather wise. It's also the end of the whale season so you can swim with the whales off Moorea!
cruisefun27 Posted April 28, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2018 Try looking into the Paul Gauguin cruise ship. Have been on her 4 times. Fantastic crew and great ports. You can't go wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
