Italian Restaurant on Spirit

I need someone to refresh my memory. Isn't the Italian a roped off area of the buffet? What is the food like? Is it worth using one of my specialty nights I've paid for on it??

Yes, it's in the back of the buffet. But it's separated by partitions so you hear some buffet noise, but the lights are turned down. It was the best Italian meal we've had on NCL and service was great on our cruise last year.

It is on the port side aft of the buffet and partitioned off at night. One of the best meals we had Dec. 2015.

That was with the old menu though. Food cooked right there so it comes out hot.

I've read one other report though that said food not good so YMMV.

The consensus of opinion on here is that the food in La Cucina is really good, but at the same time, barely edible.

Unfortunately, you really have to try it yourself to see which of those is closer to your opinion.
