cruisingnana Posted November 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2017 If booked under a casino rate, can we expect any additional comps when we board?
RetesGirl3 Posted November 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2017 Good question...would like to hear the answer! Got a casino rate for our next cruise.
AV8rix Posted November 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 6, 2017 I'm a blackjack player and always receive casino rate on HAL. However, the only other comp that I've ever received are plates of chocolate-dipped strawberries delivered to my stateroom. Also the casino hosts will usually offer you drinks while you're active at the tables (or, I suppose, slots). I'd also like to hear from others on this subject. si4444 Posted December 17, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2017 I'm a HAL first timer going Jan 14th for a 14 day. I'm booked at an extremely low rate through the casino. If I experience any great things I'll post after. Scott

Last cruise I got a plate of Chocolate covered strawberrys after I had deposited quite a bit of money at the black jack table. But Lady Luck was with me. The last night of the cruise, I played the lucky ladies and I got the two queen of hearts and the dealer had blackjack that pays 1000 to 1. Some cruises they will give you free drinks, it just depends on the Casino Host.
si4444 Posted January 28, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 28, 2018 I just got off the Rotterdam today. Free drinks but it was very non consistent and I had to ask. I'm used to unlimited drinks coming directly to me on NCL or in Las Vegas. The casino crew we're all nice people. They just don't have much of a gaming program.
