jordanaire Posted August 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2018 When we were at Maho back in April, there were very few airliners coming to St. Maarten due to the hurricane damage at most of the hotels. The tourists were not coming in as often as prior to the hurricane. We were there for 3-hours and only saw 1 airliner and several smaller prop planes. Hopefully they will start returning soon. RMH Posted August 7, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2018 Most flights arrive in the early afternoon (noon - 3:00) and then take off 2-3 hours later. Use this web site to see what nonstop flights are scheduled from the US and Europe on the Saturday you will be there. Plug in the departure city (New York, Miami, Atlanta, Paris, Amsterdam, etc.) and change the date and that will let you know how many flights will be coming in and at what time. https://www.google.com/flights#flt=/m/02_286.SXM.2018-09-22;c:USD;e:1;s:0;sd:1;t:f;tt:o Obviously, this changes all the time, so it is no guarantee, but it will at least give you an idea of what you can expect. For example, on Sat Sep 22, there are 6 flights coming in from those cities scheduled to land at SXM between 1:15 and 3:05. You can then switch the departure and arrival airports to see when the flights take off. (between 2:15 and 4:08 on that Saturday)
