Virus on a thread???

I just clicked on a thread titled

“2 M class ships for sale” and a virus warning popped up on my IPhone. So, just a heads up.

Did you click on the thread, or on the embedded link?

On your iPhone, go to Settings/Safari and click on Clear History and Website Data. That will make sure the popups stop.

Of course, you do not have a virus. It's just malicious software (malware) and adware.

I first panicked and turned off the phone then I cleared the history and now after reading this I went into settings and turned on “block pop ups”
