Arizona Travelers Posted June 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2018 Has anyone purchased a Rolex in this port? How'd it go? Did you get a good price? I will be cruising here in the near future and look to possibly purchase one.
Beaver1975 Posted June 23, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2018 Which port? Cruises go to a number of ports in Jamaica.
Capt_BJ Posted June 29, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2018 I would not make a purchase like this in JA been to JA MANY times - it was in my patrol area for many years - I'd not make such a purchase anywhere in JA if you decide I'm wrong: be sure you know your prices and models ... ensure you compare apples to apples ... a Rolex will exceed your duty free allowance so altho you save taxes you will have to declare and probably pay duty .... (getting caught trying to sneak in is painful and not recommended)
Magnetchief Posted June 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2018 Much better to purchase from one of the many online Used Rolex sites. We're not talking Knock offs here, but genuine used Rolex watches. https://www.crownandcaliber.com/collections/rolex-watches

There are a number of very reputable sites for used watches (I'm an Omega fan) and it is very easy for a person with only a little knowledge to end up over-paying for a less desired model or worse buying a high grade fake.
