canrubu Posted September 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2017 Hello fellow cruisers. We will be sailing on the Navigator and will be overnighting in Oslo and looking for suggestions on a good place for dinner. We are foodies from Chicago and love to eat out when we travel. We try and take in as much culture as we can while we are in port. Thanks so much for your help in advance.

GrJ Berkshire Posted September 28, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2017 Take plenty of cash, you will find the prices in Oslo to be eye watering by any other standard and posh restaurants will be an amazing price. We ate in the TGI Fridays which was about twice the price of London. Hope you are teetotal as alcohol prices in Norway are off the scale. We found Oslo to be the most expensive place we have ever visited higher than Tokyo, London and NY even allowing for an outrageous 20%tip. Good luck, if you have the option eat on the ship.
