Snorkel Equipment on Celebrity Xpedition

Traveling with 3 other people on Celebrity Xpedition in April. I am bringing my own prescription goggles, snorkel and rash guard shirts. Want to bring either neoprene socks or booties. Are the fins closed or open back? Also, do they provide inflatable snorkel vests or should I bring my own? I will appreciate any other tips you can provide. Very excited about this trip.

We did this cruise in October of 2017.

The fins are closed back and they provide the vests.

On your first afternoon onboard, you will be issued with all your equipment for the entire cruise, including a wetsuit.

Feel free to email to ask any other questions

Cheers,

Artie

We were on an Xpedition cruise in Aug 2016. The fins were closed back. We used neoprene socks to keep the backs from slipping. I know you are required to take the vest issued by the ship, but don't think you are required to wear them. All of the equipment issued on the ship was in good shape. They willingly swapped out equipment at your request. If you're not already doing so, I suggest you follow the conversation and post questions about this cruise on the Xpedition just back thread.
