Car service from ship to airport - Barcelona

We're looking for a car service to take us to the airport from the ship in Barcelona. Also, does anyone know the driving time to the airport?

Around 15-20 minutes. Taxi is a flat rate 39 Euros.

Susan,

If you are not pressed for time to get to the airport then most of us recommend a taxi.

Precise time depends on time of day and day of week but for planning purposes figure around twenty minutes.

I forget to mention that the 39 Euro taxi fee includes any charges for your bags too.

Thanks everyone for the info. We're planning on staying on the ship as long as possible since our flight is 12:30 p.m. Will we be able to find a taxi if we're one of the last ones off the ship?

Susan that is great.

I would recommend arriving to the airport three hours before check in if you are flying right back to the USA with the increased airport security.

Should be no problem.

Susan, my experience is you will be able to easily find a taxi because a lot of them will be coming into port to drop off people for the next cruise.

Last time we were in Barcelona, we got off late and there was still a long line of taxis.

We have a 10:30am plane from Barcelona to Copenhagen. What time should we be off the NCL Epic and will there be taxis?

we flew out of Barcelona on October 16. Our flight was at 12:15pm. We got off to find a HUGE LINE of people waiting on taxis. The taxis were coming at a good rate, but then all of a sudden, there were none. We stood there for 15 minutes until finally more started to arrive. All told, we waited at least an hour for a taxi. We also carried our luggage off the ship, so that did not delay us. But, but the time we got to the airport, we waited in line through security for at least 45 minutes, and as we walked upto the check in desk at the gate, we were randomly pulled for extra inspection.

We were able to grab a sandwhich before our flight, but just barely, as they were boarding our flight when we were finally done with the inspection.

So please, give yourself as much time as possible at the airport.
