Beach Day

If you want nicer sand and fewer children, try Almaplena. They're an AI south of the main malecon where most of the beach clubs are, limiting number of day guest to under 30. Second choice would be Maya Chan. Closer to the malecon and similar water and sand there. If you don't mind the malecon and the sand and water there (shallow with sandy bottom so appears murkier) try Tropicante, or Blue Kay. Blue Kay being north of the main malecon will have fewer traffic. Tropicante, in the middle of the main malecon will get more ( but ask Steve or Jorge about Busters).

We loved our day at Nohoch Kay! The beach was so gorgeous and not crowded at all. Food and drinks were simply awesome!!! https://costamayacruiseexcursions.com/excursion/costa-maya-beach-break/

I did get a great massage there too by Tracey or stacey.. she was amazing and right on the beach. I can't remember the price but it was really inexpensive.
