Rare MVPinBoynton Posted June 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2018 I just saw an article about a British travel warning regarding travel to the UAE. Apparently, Yemen has been firing missiles into Saudi Arabia and they are now concerned that they might start firing them into the UAE. Hopefully, this will be resolved quickly, so that those of you going there won't be affected. Globaliser Posted June 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2018 It is worth looking at the FCO's actual travel advice pages to get a proper sense of perspective about this. The Yemeni missiles make it into the front page summary for Saudi Arabia but not for the UAE, in which they are only referred to as one of the detailed points under safety and security, and even then only in these guarded terms:- Claims have been made in public media suggesting that there may also be attempts to target missiles at the UAE. It is such a nice place with so much to see and do.
