Grand Turk Inn; still there?

Is GT Inn still there? Spent a couple of lovely days there years back, but it was for sale. Would love to go back.

I believe it is. I know one of the original sisters died several years back. New Owners took over last fall before the hurricanes and were renovating. Have no idea what they would offer or what the beach in front of that property looks like now. But take a taxi up and check it out. Should be same house. And if they aren't open, the Sandbar is as is John's Oceanview at the north end of town.

I emailed Katrina and she said they had a lot of damage after the last storms; they are currently closed. She recommended a couple of places. In reply they said no day passes but if I bought a meal, I could enjoy the beach.
