Govenor's Beach

Has anyone been to Governor's Beach recently? During our last trip, the cab drivers said it had been closed, with no open bathroom facilities, but it's a favorite spot of ours.

There are no facilities. They've been closed at least for the past 5 years. I don't know before that...

We stopped there a few weeks ago. You can see there was once a building there but it is empty. No facilities. Just a nice quiet beach.

While there's no vendors there, there still is a bathroom that you can use and the showers worked outside the bathroom and they also had a foot wash. I have pictures with my review in my signature line if you are interested. It's a gorgeous beach for sure and not many people there. You can get lucky and have the place to yourself. :)
