Cocoa Beach shuttle

Hi all. A group of 4 including my not quite four year old daughter have all day to spend in Port Canaveral when the Anthem of the Seas stops there next month. We were thinking of making it a beach day. I'm not lugging a car seat around so I was wondering if there are any shuttle buses that run back and forth between the port and the beach that you recommend? If so, how much? How frequent. Any links? Thanks in advance.

The ship bus circles to the beach and back and a different ship bus circles to Cocoa Village (change buses at the beach stop) Every 2-30 minutes.

You can also take the local SCAT bus if your ship dock at Terminal 1. cheap, and easy.

800-Transportation will be waiting with shuttle vans if you rather want a private service.

Detailed information with photos of this shore trip - read here: http://cruiseportcanaveral.us/shoretrips/

I am interested in taking the shuttle but I recently read that if your ship docks on the far side (Carnival pride is showing docking at T6) then they will not let you walk off because you would have to cross a drawbridge, plus it is a lengthy trip to the other side of the port to catch the shuttle. Is anyone familiar with this?

Carnival provides the shuttle bus service as one of its shore excursions. These buses come and go all day every 20-30 minutes or so. There is no need to walk anywhere!

If you want to explore on your own, you can grab a taxi or Uber/Lyft. 800-transportation has vans and regular taxis waiting outside your terminal.

What you cannot do from terminal 6 is walk to the nearest SCAT bus stop because of the bridge!

Does NCL have a similiar shuttle bus service? If they do how does it work and what is the cost?

Yes! Works the same as described above. Buses circle back and forth to the beach near Ron Jon every 30 minutes. Cost was $15 pp adult and $9 pp child last time we checked
