Sailing on QM2 back to back leaving Southampton on 13 July. The final is Sunday 15 July - where is the best place on board to view the match? Any chance of big screen anywhere? or is the ship a football free zone!

Probably only interested if England is in the final.

Rest assured QM2 is far from a football free zone. During our recent QM2 voyages, World Cup matches were always shown in the Golden Lion Pub and on stateroom TV channel 41. For the matches involving England, they were also shown in either Illiuminations or the Royal Court Theatre. And when there were two matches going on simultaneously, showings were split between the Golden Lion and either G32, Illuminations, or the Royal Court Theatre as well as being shown on stateroom TV channels 36 and 41.

I think it would be awesome to watch the final with England in it on the QM2.

We really enjoyed watching the England v Colombia match in the Golden Lion Pub on our recent QM2 voyage. It was standing room only, and there were some pretty intense fans, so don't expect to have a conversation, and plan to walk in front of the TVs when there is a lull in the action lol.

Just got off the ship and it was playing on the big screen in illuminations. Very large screen and lots of seating. They will play it in that venue only if England goes forward!!!!!
