Heading to Southern Caribbean first week of March and Curacao is one of our stops. Does anyone know the hours of the floating market? Trying to figure out what is the best time to walk by there for fresh fruit. My dad loves fresh fruit and was wanting to check it out. Anyone also know if they sell sugarcane there?

Farmers that come from Venezuela sleep in their boats, so pretty much 24/7 operation. They sell sugar cane.

We will be visiting curaco in May and wanted to see the floating market. Our business associate that lives on the island refuses to take us because of safety concerns. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Daytime it's safe. I would stay away from there as soon as it gets dark. I used to live in Chicago, so I go there late at night, no problems.
