Twister boat Cozumel no longer an option for any cruise?

We have done the Twister boat ride to Isla Pasion several times and booked it for our upcoming November cruise on Independence. It was removed from our excursions list by Royal Caribbean. I went to see why and it is no longer an option on the cruise planner. I also exited from my cruise and just looked at the excursions by port (unrelated to my sailing) and I don't see it as an option for Cozumel on any sailing. Did something happen to this company?

It's still showing up for my Carnival cruise on 10/14.

It is quite possible that it was removed from Royal Caribbean due to it being sold out. You might call Royal Caribbean and inquire.

It was cancelled by royal. Several others were also cancelled.

The contract with RCCL probably ended and they elected not to renew it.

If you check their website, the owners of the island are complaining that Carnival has a monopoly on excursions there. So you can only visit through Carnival.

Really? What website? We have booked this through Royal twice. This is the first time we have been cancelled prior to arriving.

Anyone have any updates on this? We are looking at another cruise going to Cozumel and this is still not offered as an excursion through Royal.

I saw it on excursions on our Caribbean Princess cruise coming up in July just yesterday.

I am only seeing it through Carnival, are no third party (cheaper) options anymore?

You can book directly through the company if you have at least 10 as long as it isn’t offered by your ship as an excursion. We booked through them for our upcoming cruise.
