String ray excursion Grand Cayman or Great Stirrup Cay, which is better?

NCL offers string ray encounters in both Grand Cayman and Great Stirrup Cay. Both are priced at $75 although the Grand Cayman tour is 2 1/2 hours (activity level 2) while Great Stirrup Cay is 1 1/2 hours (activity level 1) We are in our early 70's but in good physical shape. Is one better than the other?

Cayman has wild stingrays that you meet out in the ocean. On the private islands, it’s generally captive stingrays in a pen.

Stingray city in GC is the real deal, with wild stingrays... Also, do yourself a favor and do the tour with a private company such as Captain Marvin for much less coin. You can get a better tour with a smaller group for almost half the money. You will get much more interaction with the rays with a smaller group...
