Tampa car rental....

Hi,

So I'm trying to figure out the best way and rental company to use to rent a car at the airport for a couple of nights and return Sunday AM before a cruise.....suggestions? Planning to stay in Clearwater on or close to beach....suggestions for that would be great too!!

There are some rental agencies in downtown Tampa that take one-way rentals. We use Avis located at the Embassy Suites. They have a shuttle to the cruise port, but if you have to wait too long for that, a taxi is $6pp.

Does anyone know if Hertz has a rental office near the pier? Arriving on a Sunday though and returning at airport on a Monday evening.

A taxi from TPA, if they do not shuttle, will be $25 + tip or you can Uber for under $20
