Rome, Palatine Hill tickets

I just read in a book that the ticket for the Roman Forum doesn’t include Palatine. If that is true, then going in through the Palatine entrance doesn’t take you into the Forum with that ticket?

Yes, it is an older book that we bought at a book store just for description of the different areas. I knew that the Colosseum and Forum were together and this had surprised me. I had assumed that the Forum and Palatine were combined but wanted to make sure. Thanks so much for your reply.

I was just there in August and we bought our tickets at the Palatine Hill entrance and then accessed the Forum through there. Still the same ticket as they have always had on my previous visits.
