Whale Watching?

We saw a whale on a pre-cruise excursion off the north shore of Oahu 2 weeks ago; friends saw a family of whales during a pre-cruise excursion that same week in Maui. We saw a whale off the Na'pauli (?) coast off Kauai last Friday.

Saw a recent Facebook post by our favorite whale watch vendor on Maui. For the first time, they are extending their whale watches to April 15. We had sailed a whale watch with them on March 30 a couple of years ago...saw 4 or 5 whales in a 2 hour trip.

In summary, it is possible you will see whales, but I doubt I would spend any money on a whale watching trip that late.

By the way, this, and many other topics of info are commonly discussed on the Hawaii board, here:
